Reset 03:49
Break the shell, break the spell Game over I only want to try again Play harder Dig dig dig just a bit deeper, a little deeper I’m getting tired of the same old endings Waiting for the midnight train Oh tell me, could we start over again? Same old places, same sad faces Standing in the pouring rain Oh tell me, could we start over again? Break the shell, break the spell Game over I'm only gonna die again Don't surrender I know you know I never back down All the way through darkness My lonely heart shined night and day See these eyes they are the limit Dead inside, reset, you can do it
2.
Just like embers glowing in the dark Shattered glass at the bottom of the sea A pilgrim keeping up the pace along the track A drop of water where the oceans used to seethe We gather around the fire in the dead of night Then we shake, we dance together in circles Twists and turns, a challenge on our path Moons have already seen blood brothers become rivals We gather dusty books no one can really read Tales of love, hatred, respect and devotion Oh, we do grow fast, then we run to seed Drawing poisoned water from the well of salvation Last drop of water in the ruthless desert sun
3.
Flatline 03:45
Hold your head up high Try not to fall asleep at the wheel It's a long, long way down Straight into the sun Driving wide open The farthest I can run Dying to reach the horizon Dust to dust, bones to ashes Tired out rusty horses Time brings low all the good things
4.
Tell me that you've lost your faith I'll build a church with my bare hands Ask me if it’s about to rain I'll say a prayer for a hurricane Foul your own nest Just do what you do best No I don't owe you You know the way out Was it all worth it? Why don’t you beat the retreat Get lost in the desert for days I'll spill water on the floor Fight me I’ll let you win the war So you'll have trained for nothing No I don't owe you You know the way out Was it all worth it? Get up and beat the retreat No I don’t own you There ain’t no easy way out When it’s not worth it Time to beat the retreat
5.
Listen to the silence That’s how dead birds sing They have so much to say I kneel on that road Covered with feathers And I curse this day Dancing in deadly murmurations Hundreds of birds fall from the sky Dancing in deadly murmurations Diving face first, dropping down like leaves Never sorry for themselves Wild and free birds plucked from the air You are that black dog Sniffling their wings Plucking their blooded feathers
6.
Stacks of diamonds inside private ivory towers Blood swirls spinning into glasses of pure water Watch us shaking hands, rolling the loaded dice The old clan sharing the same cup of vice Breastfed with the sour milk of hate Blood red skies above and beyond our fate Lives wasted, harvested and buried in the sand He who steals a pin steals a pound every now and then Watch us shaking hands, warmest congratulations Once our shadows gone hits the illusion What you see is what they get We move as pawns in a much bigger game
7.
Grapevines 03:43
Just say whatever you want, anything at all, spit it out once and for all I don't mind because I already know the truth and its’ lies, the knots and the ties You’d better make it right We have seen the signs (We want) nothing but the truth, nothing, nothing It's their fault, I ain't the one to blame, they're all the same, saying they're all the same I'm safe, and I must be thinking straight, I use copper shielding to protect my brain You’d better make it right We’ve heard it through the grapevines It's all fake, and it's flat A plastic playground crowded with copycats Face your fears, check the facts Know the truth, it's all a lie
8.
With a smell of revenge floating into the air The city echoed like a never ending nightmare It certainly was cold and tough to stay on the track The kind of scene where a man gets shot three times in the back The colder the better There’s a big storm coming So many souls out there, living in hope Resting by their campfires, all ears to the stories told Today enemies walk together countless speechless miles Gunshots sometimes break the silence by the icy river sides Men are seen lying dead cold on the ground Just a couple of days after shooting their partners down I wish I had eyes in the back of my head Life gave me a faithful heart instead
9.
Out of reach, out of sight Burning bridges, stealing time I’ve tried so hard to split the great divide Expecting shooting stars to collide I'd fly like a cannonball scattering grief through the mist I've worn the crown of thorns, treated myself like a beast I’ve tried aiming through bullet holes to shake off the disease You've heard it all before : "Keep up until it bleeds" Swallow the pill, flush it down Bury the hatchet and melt the crown Time's a waistin’, I'm all tore down Been runnin' round in circles, roaming around town I've been the first, and I've been the last Chasing shadows from the past Led by the thirst, conquests and desires I can’t beat the shadows that I cast

"Today is the day.
“Embers In The Dark”, notre deuxième album studio, sort aujourd’hui.

Today is the day.
Our second studio record, “Embers In The Dark”, is out now. We can celebrate this release together which somehow represents our first step into a changed world.

We hope you’ll greet us like old friends while traveling through this album. And you’ll be surprised by a few changes but also reassured by finding familiar personality traits. We wanted to be as sincere as possible when writing new music. After all, since everything may fall apart anytime, we figured that the best thing we could do was acting exactly as we wanted without asking ourselves too many questions. We wrote our first record trying to stay on the same path we had followed in another life. This time “Embers Is The Dark” is a new start, and it feels like we have created something even more personal, together.

We'd like to thank everyone for sticking around with us, thank you for believing in us and giving us strength."

Blackbird Hill Bordeaux, France

... more
